The work files for this book were created using Vectorworks 2014. These files do not exist for previous versions of the software. If you are using a newer version of Vectorworks, these files must be converted to the newer version for use.
Files can and will be converted automatically when opened. Settings for the conversion will appear before the file is converted.
Best practise will be to use the Vectorworks File>Batch Convert Command on the entire folder/directory to rebuild the files, in place, in the newer version. If you attempt to import the classes as described in Chapter 3 without having converted the file Classes.vwx to your newer version, the import will fail. There may be other examples.
