Class Projects
Introduction
There's nothing like doing an EIS to really understand what it can and cannot do. A class cannot prepare an EIS. However, it can read and critique one and/or it can conduct a preliminary review, using a checklist. Below are two projects. I have used the first only once, and the second three times. The choice entirely depends upon the professor's evaluation of his/her goals and the kinds of students in the class.
