Chapter 19: Radiographic Imaging

Radiographic imaging is taken to mean anything that involves imaging with X-ray photons that are transmitted through the patient. This might include traditional “X-rays” (planar X-ray images) but also computed tomography (CT) imaging (Section 19.3). In this chapter we discuss these topics as well as issues related to data storage and standards which apply more generally.
