Chapter 7: Photon Beams, Dose, and Kerma

The previous chapters presented a microscopic view of the interactions of photons with matter. Now we move to a more macroscopic level and consider how these interactions relate to measurable quantities in clinical applications. This will apply to photon beams used for both imaging and therapeutic applications.
