APPLYING WHAT YOU’VE LEARNED

Learning a research method concept or technique is one thing. Being able to recognize how another researcher used methodological concepts and techniques to answer a research question is an important step toward conducting your own research and becoming a more informed consumer of research.

This portion of the website contains short vignettes that describe a research project or procedure. They are based on actual research conducted by actual researchers. After reading each vignette, access the associated flash cards and test your ability to apply the research concepts you learned in Research Methods in Crime and Justice.
