Welcome

Crime Prevention: Approaches, Practices, and Evaluations, 10th Edition, meets the needs of students and instructors for engaging, evidence-based, impartial coverage of the origins of crime, as well as of public policy that can reduce or prevent deviance.

This companion site offers an array of resources for students and instructors.

A selection of student resource documents are available—some tied to the “On the Web” boxes in the textbook, and others provided for additional study. In addition, the student site contains learning aids including practice quizzes, online flashcards, and case study scenarios with questions and suggested answers.

The password-protected instructor site provides a sample syllabus, a PowerPoint presentation deck for each chapter, a list of potential homework assignments, and a test bank. A “9th Ed - 10th Ed Chapter Map” noting the relocation of some material is available for instructors who have prepared materials on the 9th edition.

Because Chapter 17 offers closing thoughts on crime prevention and the future, no test bank questions or student learning resources have been provided for that chapter.
