Routledge

Routledge was founded in 1836, and since the early years of the twentieth century it has focused on book and journal publishing in the Humanities and Social Sciences. The result is an exceptional list that has published many of the greatest thinkers and scholars of the last hundred years, including Adorno, Einstein, Russell, Popper, Wittgenstein, Jung, Bohm, Hayek, McLuhan, Marcuse and Sartre.

We take pride in the range and strength of our backlist, which we continue to promote in a wide range of formats. Our current publishing programme encompasses the liveliest texts, and the best in research.

Publish with us, and you join this prestigious family of books.

Language Learning

The Routledge Language Learning list combines high-level research titles, such as the Language Family series, with a vast range of grammars, dictionaries and textbooks.

Our Comprehensive Grammars provide complete reference guides, while the Essential Grammars provide an overview of the most important aspects. The Basic and Intermediate Grammar & Workbooks provide clear explanations and exercises for the learner and our Modern Grammars combine traditional grammar instruction with grammar presented through functions. Routledge Intensive courses take the student from scratch to intermediate in one year.

Higher-level series include Thinking Translation and Developing Writing Skills. We offer frequency and technical dictionaries, as well as lexicons in a variety of languages.

Make sure your book benefits from the Routledge Language Learning treatment by submitting your proposal.
