Exercise Immunology Review (EIR) is the official publication of the International Society of Exercise and Immunology and the German Society of Sports Medicine and Prevention and there is only one issue each year. It is committed to developing and enriching knowledge in all aspects of immunology that relate to acute exercise and regular physical activity. EIR publishes review articles and papers with new, original data including an extended, review-like discussion.

Journal of Sports Sciences

This journal is produced monthly on behalf of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. It covers all disciplines related to sport and exercise sciences. This is the official journal of the European College of Sports Science. It is a completely electronic journal. This is the official journal of Sports Medicine Australia, Australia’s national umbrella body for sports medicine and sports science. In Australia, this is the major multidisciplinary publication on sport science and sports medicine. There are occasional articles on exercise immunology.

British Journal of Sports Medicine

This journal contains a series of original articles on exercise physiology, including case studies and reviews. Although it has a strong clinical emphasis, it does provide articles that are useful for undergraduate level study, the level of which is appropriate because the main audience of the journal is not physiology specialists.
