The Achprof.sav data contains four indicators of achievement and proficiency provide data for a simple linear regression using the SPSS pull down menu. For a Rasch analysis of a self-assessment of learner confidence, a command file featuring the sequence of commands for performing a rating scale analysis is provided in Candocommand.txt file. The associated data set containing the self-ratings is routcd10.dat. A student version of Winsteps can be downloaded from the Winsteps site.
