Simulation Exercises

The materials posted here support the simulation exercises of the book’s Chapters 1 through 17.

The Ottawa Canadian Weather for Energy Calculations (CWEC) weather file is used for simulation exercises describes in Chapters 1 through 17.  Refer to footnote iii on the book’s page 27.  This file is labelled CWEC-2016 in the book. 

The older version of the Ottawa CWEC weather file is labelled CWEC-old in the book.  It is used in Exercise 8-C and Exercise 8-D. 

The actual meteorological year (AMY) weather file for 1998 for Ottawa labelled AMY-1998 in the book.  It is used in Exercise 8-C and Exercise 8-D.
